"I did read reviews on this property after I made the reservation and still decided to keep it. The property is dated and not well kept. I had read that the elevators did not work at times, but we had no issue with that during our stay. The property does have an amazing location as the beach was spectactular and not crowded during our stay which was mid May. The pool area is small, but the beach made up for it. We did not eat at any of the restaurants so I cannot comment on this. The coffee shop was great for morning Starbucks. Where it fell apart for us was housekeeping. There was some confusion on cleaning and when they finally did come, they left our door open after they were finished. We walked in to an unsecured room and that was unacceptable. They did waive our resort fees, but honestly, our laptops could have been stolen. It is the only traditional hotel on the beach and it has so much potential. Next time, we will try an airbnb."
