"This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again."

"It is right on the lake so that's a plus. It was quiet and clean with comfy beds. We stayed 3 weeks, we were contacted once about someone parking in the wrong spot. It was not us, couldn't they have checked whose car it was before contacting us about such a thing. I really thought they were contacting us to see how our stay was going. The whole thing, from booking, our 21 day stay and our checkout was so impersonal. No human interaction other than us asking housekeeping for a change of towels....

"Older and a bit tired property, but very clean and ok for our 10-hr stay. The mattress pad on each queen bed was miserably soft. Oh my gosh, I sat on the edge of the bed to put my socks on and slid off onto the floor. That was a surprise and not a pleasant one. Like many hotels, the toilet is extremely low. The property has no handicap access shower. Anyway, the hotel is clean. I can’t comment on the breakfast as we left at 5:30am."

"The Holiday Inn Express in Acme (Traverse City), Michigan, is a great place to stay when you plan to sightsee around the city. The rooms are neat with the basic amenities, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the breakfast is tasty and served on time. The variety is typical, but served nicely. The halls are quiet, but we could hear activity in the room above us. Thankfully, it did not last long, and we eventually managed to get some sleep. This is our fourth stay at this HIX, and...

"Great little spot for a few nights exploring the Elk Rapids area. Plenty of space to unhook/store our boat. Having the grill and fire pits was nice - we cooked our own dinner there both nights!"

"This is not the first time I stayed at Parkshore, but it was the first time I stayed during the warm weather months. Loved having a room on the ground floor overlooking the bay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and you can’t beat the deal for breakfast. We will be back."
