"While staying at the heritage inn, the first thing I noticed was that the room phones did not work. I then called the front desk from my cell phone and watched no one answer the phone. I didn’t get my room cleaned or received fresh towels at all and had to walk to the front desk for more toilet paper. Then the pool was ice cold each day and no one came to assist in making the experience better. "

"Pros- quiet, bed comfortable, tv channel selection was ok but the numbering is odd. Laundry room is good. Cons- extremely rude staff and stupid policies. We have been on a road trip and wanted a break from the road. We planned to stay 9 nights then move on. Yesterday after 7 nights we were told we had to check out today and they refused to even have a discussion. "Parking was a cinch. The location is serene and relaxed. A darling wine bar across the street and Walgreens is a 3-minute walk. The free breakfast was a bit chaotic but adequate. I was dismayed to see teenagers wearing pajamas in the breakfast area and well-fed families hoarding food, but this is the new normal, I guess. "
