"Parking was easy at a cost. Room was great with river views. I would normally give a 5/5 however I feel the staff in the coffee shop/bar/restaurant let the hotel down. Most of the staff were very busy talking to each other and left guests waiting until they went up and had to asked for service. I thought it was just the italian way until I saw a few Italian guests go up and asked to be served. The food could be better as well. Only a small thing as the laurel is attached to a Shopping centre...

"This small hotel is well located within walking of old city and great restaurants. Junior suite in tower was beautiful. First class in all respects. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful staff that provided over the top service. Highly recommended."

But for the price point the bathroom and room amenities were disappointing (no coffee maker, no mini fridge, bathroom had one of those tubs with no glass or curtain so water got everywhere when you showered). Location is great. But was disappointed by the room, despite the gorgeous view."

"Chambre globalement propre, mais hôtel très vieillissant. Décoration datée, équipements anciens et présence de moisissure dans la salle de bain. La porte de notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons dû être déplacés dans une autre chambre. Heureusement, le personnel a pu trouver une solution rapidement. Malgré cela, le rapport qualité-prix est mauvais : pour le tarif payé, nous nous attendions à un établissement bien mieux entretenu."
