"Beautiful hotel with spacious and confortable rooms. Personnel is also very friendly. There is only 2 dowsides: the restaurant had almost nothing available (wrt menu) and the hotel is little bit far from city center (20 min by walk). Bit overall I recommand this hotel."

"The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. "Its a beautiful, nostalgic throwback to a colonial India hillstation. Darjeeling is wonderful and this hotel has memories, from the posters and photis on the walls, of life back when. I stayed in the Tenzing Norgay block, with old somewhat faded photos of the great man along every inch of corridor. But not everything works...some of the lights, the bedsheets dont fit, the towels are worn. None of that distracted me from the historic atmosphere of old time luxury. The afternoon tea was...

"Good property to stay at very good location. Staffs are polite and helpful. Only problem I faced while checking out that they could not find my payment which already made during booking the room on hotels.com.There must have some communication gap between hotel and hotel.com causing unnecessary delay in checking out."
