"This hotel was a trip highlight. Stunning building, easy parking and delicious breakfast. Huge bathroom and possibly the cleanest we have ever seen in a hotel. Fresh air, friendly staff and we would love to have stayed longer. Special hour out to the stocks in the kids playground. Love it!"

"Stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the room and the breakfast was really good. However we decided to order a snack from the menu one evening. I ordered a sandwich, the menu stated fresh bloomer bread, brown or white, tuna, spring onion, mayonnaise and black pepper. When I received this it was 2 thin slices of 50/50 bread, no spring onion and the thinnest filling of tuna, more like spread. The charge for this was £8.00!! Definitely not worth the cost."

"Lovely Hotel... steeped in history Room was comfy and shower room was really well lit with a really good shower. No real fault apart from could do with a chair to pull up to the desk. The winged back chair was a bit low and cumbersome to move. extra desk chair would be fab. liked the courtyard room, with parking outside."
