"Hotel was fine. Just need to be aware that Iowa allows smoking in casinos and they do allow it in this casino. Being from Illinois, this was a real shocker to me. Not used to that. I wish I would have known that ahead of time. But overall, property was very clean and well kept. Staff was great."

"The nightstand table was covered in ants and there was black mildew the in the seams of the shower. I addressed the front desk agent at check out about a discount or something and she said since we booked through Expedia there was nothing she could do. She wrote down my phone number and said she would have the manager call. I won’t be staying here again because of my experience but also because it’s increasingly frustrating when you staff a hotel with employees that can’t rectify this issue...

"The property was very outdated and dirty. The hallway carpet was ripped/separated and I tripped, but luckily didn't fall. The carpet in the room was extremely worn and had large black spots. The bathroom was dirty with mold around the tub and the shower curtain had a good amount of mold on it. There was no drain cover/plug in the sink and the one in the shower was broken. The water did not drain well in the shower causing it to back up. The towels smelled like smoke and so did the room. The...

"This was by far the best residence inn we have stayed at. No perfume on carpet or on linens or bedding. I really appreciate the cleanliness and hospitality without harsh chemicals!"
