"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. "Loved Pontresina - very walkable, had a great stay. This hotel is centrally located and very quaint. Staff were excellent. We arrived late, they called to check on us and offered to pick us up from the train station. Breakfast was excellent and we had a nice drink on their back patio in the evening. Overall, excellent accommodation. "
