"Room amenities were not 4 star. No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful. Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"Pro: AC worked very well, bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Con: Towels didn’t smell fresh. Shower didn’t drain properly. Staff made us wait to ensure they got their money from Expedia which I thought was really weird. All attention at check out went there and they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our stay."

The lady on reception gave us some local Belgian sweets and we also got free drinks vouchers due to the inconvenience of the construction going on at the hotel. Bit of a pain if you have lots of luggage as the current entrance is down some steep stairs and a bit of a walk from the car park. Car park was free (maybe due to the building works going on?) "Nice property just outside Ghent with easy access to city center. The property itself is as described with nice rooms with all the amenities listed. Complimentary breakfast was also decent with a nice variety of items to choose from. A plus is a 24 hours bar."
