"So, I have stayed at this location many times in the past and have never had any issues. The rooms are always clean, and they were this time as well. I didn't get a cringy feeling in the room. The owners are very nice and do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This time around the building had a very weird smell. I'm not sure what it was, but it was off putting to me. I know the owners live on site and maybe it was their meal that they had at the time, but in the morning, I noticed that...

"The room was clean, but the public areas (stairs, breakfast areas) needed vacuuming etc. The hotel seemed quite run down, all the furniture was very dated, stained etc. Breakfast was poorly stocked, low quality and the coffee machine didn't work."

We go back get another key to another room and there was someone in that room when we opened the door — some guy that we “think” worked there but was dressed in basketball clothing — he left and the room was soo dirty . The parking lot didn’t have any vehicles in it and it was Memorial weekend. That should have been my first warning but we proceeded to check in.
