"We hadden een Junior Suite; een grote kamer met een fijn bad, goede douche en eigen keuken. Het grote bed was top! De kamer rook bij binnenkomst niet heel lekker en de kamer was niet heel stijlvol, maar vooral zakelijk en verre van romantisch. Omdat we een jong kind bij ons hadden hebben we niet bij het restaurant gegeten maar de menukaart is wel aantrekkelijk. Ontbijt was prima. "It was SO hot when we were in the Netherlands, so our large, cool room with a nice big bathroom was just what we needed after driving up from Amsterdam! The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was also great to be able to go downstairs and have such a delicious dinner. The breakfast was pretty good also. "Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice."

"The room was nice and clean, the only downsides were how many random sets of stairs you have to drag your luggage up and down to get to the correct elevator if your room is in the other building. The two person bed room is really great if you want to sleep next to your partner without snuggling, as if they try they’ll get swallowed up by the beds separating, haha."

"This is a terrific location and everything was excellent but for one thing…I had asked before booking if there was access to gluten free meals (this was an important requirement for health reasons) and I was assured this would be no problem. However, the reality was that it really didn’t exist…you really had no meals to choose from. I feel that for a “wellness” place there would be actual meal plans available and placed on the menu."
