"We stayed here as an overnight on our trip from Klamath Falls, OR to the central coast for a few days of driving and site seeing. After the long drive down 138 (the Umpqua Highway) to Reedsport and north to Florence it was great to stay in a room with a view of the Siuslaw River and historic bridge across to Florence, with very comfortable beds, very responsive and helpful desk staff, and to wake up and have a great made-to-order breakfast. Florence is where the dunes are and a great starting point to see the rocky coast and interesting stops driving north (the dunes; the darlingtonia; Sea Lion Caves and the rocky coast) on the way to Newport and further."

"The property is on the beach so you have an ocean view. The rooms could be updated a bit but the beds were comfortable and for the best views stay on the 3-5th floors. The balcony was great!!!"

"Nice hotel with big rooms. No air conditioner in the room but opening the windows cooled it down but there were no screens on the windows. Bed was ok, maybe a little too firm. Hotel was nice and had everything we needed. Excellent access to the beach and tide pools."

"After reading a scary terrible review, we were nervous to keep the reservation. But the room was lovely and clean. Looks like it's been recently painted inside. Well worth the price. Will stay again"
