The staff goes above & beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. They are very attentive & helpful. My only complaint is that walls are paper thin & you can hear every sound coming from the street, people in the hotel & the bars/stores next door Great location though

Nice place to stay, excellent customer service. 24 hrs desk service. The entrance looks like it’s a old Building but once you get in, the place is nice and clean.

Decent stay with some issues.
Overall it was a decent stay. The breakfast was served in the morning to your room which was a different and first time experience. The shower knob needs replacing as it was difficult to keep the shower running. The towels looked worn out and old. As I have several devices, it was a bit challenging to charge them when only one outlet worked. I was really surprised to see the electrical outlet or port required the two prong adapter (used in some Asian countries) instead of the 3 prong UK one. Also, I ended up buying a thicker electrical cord with an adapter in order to charge my MacBook Pro. I may never use this cord again. WiFi strength and consistency was decent. The music from a nearby bar did not bother me in the Night but I could see it being an issue for many. The service for additional supplies was excellent.

Very well located in the outer circle of Connaught Place this hotel has recently been fully renovated and the result is delightful. Brand new and clean it is on the first floor of M block. Easy to get to from Rajiv Chowk metro and New Delhi station. Walking distance to all of CP and Janpath. The staff are lovely and very helpful and friendly. Nothing is a bother. Bathroom clean and showers good. It is a lovely space. There is only one drawback you must consider. It is literally right on top of a bar/nightclub that has music from early afternoon to 1am exactly. I was OK with earplugs and my friends with me also managed but if you are a light sleeper or can't do earplugs or noise cancelling headphones I think you might have to look elsewhere.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located near the metro station. We could do the check in at 4 am. We highly recommend this hotel !

Staff and service excellent. Room is a little small but perfectly adequate. Very clean all round. Bathroom and facilities were good. Breakfast was decent. Only thing is at night there was music playing nearby quite late so not so easy to sleep if you are a light sleeper. In our room there was no window which we would have preferred. A decent hotel for a very fair price.

It's not a hotel.
Very sad to inform that first of all it is not a hotel. There is entrance lobby. Reception counter is on 2nd floor. No lift, very small staircase to go up. There is no restaurant in the hotel. No buffet breakfast. All services like breakfast, lunch, dinner is provided in room. Not satisfied at all! Not worth for the amount charged.

Great hotel in Connaught Place
First, getting there. If by metro, get out at Rajiv Chowk, exit 5. It is about 2 blocks from there. Connaught is made up of blocks (A-Z) and this hotel is in block M. Block N is where the metro exit is. The buildings in Connaught place all look the same, so you may need to ask directions. Indians speak English, so it is not too hard. As for the room itself, it had an excellent a/c system, which is vital in India. Complimentary breakfast is served in your room, as you complete a menu and leave it outside your door. I liked the hotel a lot. I used their travel service recommendation. The problem with that company is that, like all things in India, you have to bargain for prices. I went to Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi. I should have done more planning before coming to India though, as I assume, even with bargaining, I probably paid too much. However, if you don't plan ahead, the company was very good in getting a driver and arranging hotels and a flight to Varanasi (a must see). I have no complaints at all.

Comfortable room and good location
Good location, reception and very good breakfast in the room. The rooms are comfortable, but there is no window in the room. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, non expensive and just to enjoy the city, it’s a good place to stay. The hotel is not luxurious, but the services were really good and we had a good time there.

Great location, great staff but can be noisy.
Very attentive staff, from check-in to room service. Located right in Connaught Place, the location couldn't be any better. Lots of restaurants to pick from, and a great heritage feel to the place because it is located within the complex itself. Breakfast was delicious, and is served as early as 6AM - making it ideal to catch the early train to Agra/Taj Mahal.

A hidden jewel!
Don’t let the entrance fool you! Very dreary with a somewhat scary entrance.... just a set of stairs... but where do they lead? The lobby is non descript. The change happens then, the staff are extremely courteous and pleasant! And the room! Delightfully bright and clean... looks freshly decorated! A spacious bathroom to boot, with a great shower ( the only thing here, very temperental water control)! A definite.... will stay again stamp of approval

Central Delhi hotel
Hotel was hard to spot from road. Many vagrants and stray dogs roam about all hours of the day & night. Twice beggars followed me back to hotel including one who entered the hotel and was chased out by security who was awoken by me scolding the beggar.

Ok for a 1 night stay
Started our tour of India at a chain hotel which was miles away from Old Delhi and the tourist area. So when we returned for a 1 night stay before our flight back we hastely found an alternative. This filled the bill being in Connaught Place close to bars shops and restaurants and only 1 metro stop away from the airport express link. Entrance is very off putting but once inside the place is adequate and to be fair the staff were very helpful. Ok for a one night stand whilst in transit.

Safe and comfortable hotel
The hotel is in a great location. It is very comfortable regarding the rooms. It is up a flight of stairs so do not book if unable to get up lots of stairs. I read the previous reviews, and everywhere in Delhi there are metal detectors at doors so this might have given some others guests a shock. Room service great. I felt quite safe as a solo travelling woman. The safest I can feel in India! The receptionist did call me 5 minutes after checking in to ask if I was a doll or a woman. Wifi was good. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel Bright is centrally located, near shops, restaurants and parks. Indian Gate and many government offices are also located nearby. The staff is courteous and puts forth the best effort to make the guest's stay an enjoyable one.

Room was okay once in and staff lovely but very hard to find. Extrance is a hole in the wall and then it's up two flights of stairs and past a dodgy room which lowers the tone. Would not stay there again. Hotels.com photos paint very different picture. Disappointed with hotels.com as much as the Bright Star as it was their India desk who recommended on phone!!!!

Great location in the heart if Delhi
Pros: location in the heart of Delhi connaught place, within walking distance to all pubs and shopping places. Staff is bice and helpful. Clean. Good enough for the money you pay. Cons: windowless rooms. Kind of when you are in the room you can hear what is happening in the lobby at the reception. Overall is good.

Nice option in a central location
The hotel is located in a busy market location and while the ambience of the hotel is not the best, it meets some of the key requirements. Service is fantastic and timely to make up for the other lacunae. The hotel does not have a restaurant either but the location has a number of options which can suit any palate and purse !

Good location for the center of Delhi which made it easy to get around with taxis and auto rickshaws. Very good service from all. Breakfast serviced in your room...love the Marsala omelet. My only complaint is no view from the windows...but when you realize where you are, then it's fine

Great stay!!
We had a great stay at Hotel Bright! Perfect hotel for first arrival in Delhi. Very accommodating including an unexpected change of plans. Management and Reception staff were amazing, very helpful, prompt and caring! Would happily stay there again.

Superbly good for budget travelers
It's a wonderful stay during my visit in New Delhi.The hotel's location is near Raji chowk MRT station,and closes to many good restaurants.All you need can be obtained in the area of Connaught circus.The hotel attendants were very helpful and amiable.The price is reasonable ,if considering it is a 3-star hotel in a teeming city center.It is a good deal to stay for budget travelers. Its negatives are ,1.lack of public space,like spacious lobby..2.lack of restaurants,gym,and pool. But as I said,superbly good for budget travelers who don't need those services,except these,everything about the hotel is very good.
