Extremely clean with a lovely room and beautiful pool and garden surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe adjoining was sensational, best coffee I have had in Bali.

We enjoyed this hotel so much that we are bringing family for another stay in 2024. The room was comfortable and we slept well. We ate in the cafe for dinner and again the next morning. There is nearby access to the beach and the staff is kind and welcoming. We didn't use the pool, but it was tempting. We thought that this was a great place for the cost. We didn't know that the bottled water was free since it was listed as mineral water on the minibar price list. We'll clarify whether or not bottled water is provided the next time we stay. The cut-up fresh fruit was a nice welcome treat.

Perfect stay! The location is fantastic with direct access to the main street with many shops and restaurants around, but still very quiet oasis once you walk inside! All staff is lovely and very helpful to organize all your activities and transfer. The rooms are clean with comfy beds and beautiful swimming pool a few steps away.. Breakfast was delicious and you can enjoy it in Akaya Cafe or in the cosy terrace, sharing with the hotel on the 2nd floor since the construction is finished. I can honestly recommend Akaya Bali Hotel for your stay in Sanur!

The property is currently under construction 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm, it's loud and a major distraction from the usual peace and quiet exspected when staying in Sanur. It's a great small hotel with wonderfull staff, I would avoid until construction is completed and that looks like it will be at least another 3 months out.

Great little hotel in heart of Sanur, lovely pool, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed her many times and it’s always good. The rooms are spotless.

The Akaya is very good value for money. Some of the rooms downstairs appeared to be a little larger but overall the rooms are on the small side but don’t let that deter you. Cafe Akaya is excellent and serves a fantastic breakfast inc in the rate. Thanks to the staff for an excellent stay

Loved the stay at Akaya. Beach, good food, amenities (pharmacy, mini mart) all within 2-3 mins walk away. Hotel cafe has the best french toast. Staff and service were great, love the people! Already thinking of returning for another holiday! Thank you!

Akaya Bali is a lovely hotel in the middle of Sanur. The location was perfect for exploring the town. Beach access was just across the road. Great spas, nail salons, restaurants all within 3 min walk. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The associated cafe for breakfast and other dining options was great as well.

Love the cleanliness of this place. And loved absolutely lovely and caring staff. It is a small boutique hotel and very quiet. Pool is super clean. Everyone is great at their jobs. They spoil you with daily breakfast choices, in-room amenities like mineral water, tea, coffee, fresh milk, and water dispensers on property. Very convenient. The cafe staff looks after you as if you are family. They are always laughing and food is limited but very clean and fresh.

I reserved a terrace room but got balcony, instead. We did stay just one night before transfering to a liveaboard. Other than that, rooms are small but clean. Staff are very helpful and polite.

Akaya was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent- right in the heart of the main shopping strip. A short walk to the beach. The staff were so lovely, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I left my charger cable at the last hotel. One of them drove home and got me her cable and then organised a place for me to buy one. The cafe attached had beautiful food and coffee too.

We LOVED this place. We almost cancelled our stays at other places so we could come back here. The check in ladies were incredibly kind and so friendly. The cafe always went above and beyond, especially Ketut and Gede! We had good laughs with them each morning. The hospitality of this hotel is great and we would highly recommend it!

Really nice hotel in Sanur. Very quiet area. Everything about the rooms was very modern and clean. Lovely bed. Excellent hot shower with lots of hot water! Service was great and breakfast was excellent also. Nothing at all to fault to be honest.

Vi kunne rigtig godt lide dette meget lille hotel
Vi kunne rigtig godt lide dette meget lille hotel. Det ligger i gåafstand til stranden og byen og der er pænt og rent. Poolen er relativt stor i forhold til hvor lille hotellet er, og der er en reception. Morgenmaden er god. Det eneste minus: Der ligger et tempel ved siden af hotellet, og sommetider bliver der spillet høj Balinesisk musik. Men det generede ikke os.

Sehr schöne, familiäre Anlage in Gehdistanz zum Beach Walk und zum Strand. Das Frühstück ist erstklassig und lecker. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Kissen waren zu hart und zu hoch, ein weicheres konnte leider keines aufgetrieben werden.

My wife and I stayed Akaya Bali for 11 days. We loved this cozy hotel and its superb breakfast. Pros: You should add the breakfast, which is excellent, offered by the attached cafe; the staff were always friendly and very helpful; the common place upstairs is very comfortable with lots of breeze and couches, free water dispenser; the pool is good; because there are not too many rooms, they are cleaned every day and all the facilities are well-maintained; my wife loved the dry bed sheets with good aroma; the rooms are quipped with adequate items; and enough water pressure for showers ;) If you want to know a truly good water pressure for your shower, you should visit Japan! ;) Cons: the list is short---noisy street with live bands playing close to midnight; the room may be small for large people (or those who used to US hotels).

Cozy hotel, with great staff!
One small and efficient hotel, that also have a divingcenter attached. The rooms are all clean, with waterboiler, refrigerator, and hygienproducts. The pool are big enough for a swim. All the staff are nice and humble, service with cleaning and breakfast without any complains. Specially was Gede, wery friendly, and serviceminded.
