"Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. "Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. "

"The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant."
