"If it's hot (like it was when I was there), make sure you don't get the room with the walkway outside the windows (like I did). Not air conditioned (like all of Rothenberg) but I was unable to open the windows without the thought of someone peering or stepping into my room. Nice place but because of these reasons, I did not enjoy my stay."

De sfeer van begin 1900 is heel goed bewaard gebleven en er is een evenwicht gezocht naar moderne gemakken met behoud van de sfeer van toen. Hou je van een heel bijzonder gebouw van begin 20e eeuw, dan is dit je hotel! Maar het evenwicht vonden we niet overal aanwezig. De kamers bij de theaterzaal lijken er een beetje bij te hangen en de inrichting vonden we een beetje...

"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. "Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip.
