Syntagma is closer, but may be closed off due to public events or you may want to avoid the demonstrations that occur there occasionally. I stayed in a 6th floor room, next to the lifts (elevators). "Breakfast menu is limited but okay. Other than water, nothing is complimentary in the Room - but they have a decent restaurant downstairs which is fair priced. Rooms clean and well kept."

"Athens Manor was a great place to stay. They arranged a van for us to get to the Hotel and from the airport after hours and from the hotel back to the airport. The room was great for our family and was located really close to down town and all the shops. The temperature was cool when we were there so the room was warm and comfortable. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was fantastic! We had a great stay! "

"Where do I begin. This hotel is horrible. Don’t stay here. I was not thrilled with the appearance however I was going to give it a shot. That all changed after a long day of traveling and I went to take a shower and there was ZERO hot water. The desk lady tried telling us it was because too many people using it and to “wait a little bit”. I had to tell her that was not the reason and she had to call someone. "Good: this place has everything to be 5 star experience. Breakfast is spectacular. Best pillows and sheets. Clean and up-to-date interior. Young staff that tries their best, but who seem to be mostly in training. Bad: promissed pool and outdoor balcony are closed for renovation. In spite of reservation saying “city view” they put us on the 2nd floor with zero view and construction going on. When requested to change they said maybe they can upgrade for 50 euro, but they don’t know what floor and...
