"One desk clerk was not engaged, didn't speak clearly and was on his cell phone when we come in. Said he was too busy to get any carts collect bring in guest luggage. Pants half way down his ass. Morning attendant for breakfast not dressed well for that job. Our pillows were just thrown on the bed. Didn't look nicely made."

"Overall good property. It has some wear but was very clean. Had nice outdoor ammenities but was not really a focal point. Could be tidied up. Pet friendly is huge plus and those with dogs were respectful of others. Oddly, we ended up with an accessible room. The bathroom was accessible in terms of grab bars and plenty of space in the bathroom. This was not a lowered sink but could probably work for a person using wheels. The door bell, however did not work. The dining table would have to move...

"Manager was friendly and professional. Room was clean. Was quiet until 2:00 a.m. when we heard a lot of activity in the room above us until 5:00 a.m. "

"Issues with wifi so no internet available and they could not get key cards done properly. I had to be let in and pick up key cards the next day. The ice machine did not work. When I needed staff I had to search the lobby to find someone although staff was great once found."

They attempted to give us a room with a door that leads to the next room with some kind of chair against it with advanced notice that there may be a lot going on with the neighbors but just stuck it up. "The Baxa Inn is a modest inn nestled near the heart of Buckcannon. Our family of 3 stayed 2 nights for a family memorial service and the staff went out of their way to support our needs during a difficult time. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was refreshing. At a good price, was perfect for our needs."

Room was larger than some higher-star hotels offer, everything was clean and in good condition, and even though the place is on a main street through town it was incredibly quiet. Will definitely book here again when we visit."

"This is a very well maintained property. It is close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and loved that the shower was very low entry. Our room faced the sign for the Burger King next door, but the blackout shade completely blocked any light from it during the night. There is a restaurant on the main level if you don't want to go out for food. It was very quiet and our sleep was not disturbed by others coming and going. It was a very positive experience."
