"The hotel is under renovation so we could
not stay there. Called hotels.com but was put on hold for a ridiculous 92minutes. Agent said will look for a vacancy nearby the amir hotel and get back to me, but did not get back to us after waiting for close to 2 hours. Walk in to a nearby hotel and was immediately offered a room. Waste my time, international call time, money and most importantly ruined the trip for me and my girlfriend. I wish to speak to the higher up of hotels.com for compensation."

"Best Hotel in Batam. Ideally located with a 2 minute walk to Harbour Bay. Big clean rooms with comfy beds.
Brekky is good & the dinner menu is ok.
Staff are excellent. They can't do enough to help the hotel guests.
Excellent value for money!"
