"This hotel feels like staying in a cabin on the lake. The room was beautifully themed but also very clean. The view out the window of the lake was spectacular. "The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus."

" Lakewoods resort was a blast! We had a room by the pool with snowmobiles parking right outside the door. They had plenty of parking for trailer too. The room and the food was phenomenal. The kids menu for breakfast was expensive but yet excellent. It was a great family experience for us. "
