"We came here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and super helpful. They even packed us a lunch for our long train ride when we left. The restaurant was very good with delicious dessert. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Berchtensgaden area. "

"What was unique was the peaceful surroundings and mountain views. Staff was unusually helpful, pleasant and polite. Manuella at the desk always greeted us with a smile and deserves 5 stars fro her service.
What I did not like was the hotel has a laundry service for an exhorbitant rate. They should just find a place and install self srvice machines, as then people would plan longer stays there because the peace and tranquility that comes from the mountain views is super amazing."

"A wonderful hotel full of character, with lovely staff and very clean. My room was huge, although I cannot comment if all rooms were of a similar size. The food was excellent and the quiet location was lovely. The only criticism I have is that my stay was only 2 days- I wish I stayed longer! "

"My family and I had a lovely 2 x night stay during a tour around Europe, the staff were very friendly and even went the extra mile by posting my handbag to Malta (the last destination of our trip), when I didn’t realise I’d left it there until we were in Bratislava! Thank you so much, it was much appreciated! "
