"Slightly confusing entrance as the hotel is currently under renovation, and fewer rooms were available with the construction works (we were told it will be fully open at the start of May). However the restaurant and small pool were both open. The location is outside the main town but it was nice to feel away from that. The garden rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. "Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. "The property is found in a rather isolaed environment (no walk-in cafe or restaurant around, no paadded seating(only bench), no varied menu offering).
Room is clened every day but rather small to move in around; staff is willing to help when asked.
INCONVENIENCES : no soap provided to wash one's body in shower though hot water is available; one has to leave one's room in the middle of the night to walk outside to the bathroom to pee or defecate.
No live music scene around or fast food outlet...
