"We had a lovely welcome from the owner Pam, so friendly! She showed us our room and how everything worked and also gave us information about where to go for dinner. The pool looked a little cloudy but I think this would be down to the heavy thunderstorms that Gaborone was receiving. Probably not the best if you don't have your own transport - not a problem for us! Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"I booked this hotel for a 4 night stay for me and two work colleagues. Upon arrival on Sunday afternoon, 6th August 2023, the lady at reception said that she had no record whatsoever of our bookings and said that we couldn’t stay as the hotel was fully booked. When I showed her the paperwork from Hotels.com confirming the booking she was unmoved and refused to honour our booking. No apology although she did telephone a local guest house and they accommodated us for our 4 night stay."

"Lovely place, with beautiful reception area, you see that it has been grand. However you also see that the hotel overall is old and in need of renovation. the pool needed cleaning (but that was general for all our stays in Botswana) and the bar at the pool was closed in the afternoon!! They was 2 girls but the answer was closed!! Luckily a young man came by and he accommodated us (we saw that he walked to the other bar to get our orders) We had a massage all 3 and it was really good."

"The lodge is ideally located in central Chobe National Park (preferably access with small plane at Savuti). Great for day safari trip. The GM couple is extremely caring and the staff very attentive to your needs. It's an amazing place. Prefer to go on dry season, as during wet season (Jan-April) animals are more difficult to see and some roads are flooded"

"Friendly staff.Elegant and comfortable living room with a table with comfortable faux leather chairs and a comfortable chaise lounge. Good to sleep in a comfortable bed after a very hot shower. Pleased to use a functional a microwave oven. Luggage stands appreciated as was a comfortable bedroom chair at a dressing table with a good mirror, functional aircon, good lighting, internet,and the launch service. "Going to first floor with no elevator might be an issue for some people. The staff was so loud way too early you can’t get any sleep in the morning. The place is clean so if you are an early bird the noise from outside won’t bother you. I did put in a complaint with front desk hopefully that helped."

"Workers have low English proficiency . There was a challenge when trying to communicate with some of the workers. Although the reception and all other things were generally ok.They must improve in this regard. Some workers are good but only the one that I communicated with when I left the place"
