"I stay here because it’s convenient for when I’m travelling, but I can’t get excited when I stay over. The hotel definitely needs modernising. It is very dated. Artex ceiling, dated bathroom, bedroom furniture old and looks tatty. I decided this time to pay for an upgrade. When I went to my room the bed hadn’t been made and there was a dog’s drinking bowl on the carpet. I was given another room, very plain. No pictures on the wall."

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was cold though, the food was left in chafing dishes (Bain-Maries) to keep warm and everything was cold, we waited 10 mins in case the food was changed and all they did was add some fresh eggs and sausages to what was left."

"For a number of years we have used the Crow Wood hotel & it has always maintained the excellent standard of pleasant staff, cleanliness & upkeep of facilities. Dining in any of the three restaurants is worthwhile."
