"Enjoyed staying at the Pacific Cairns. Five minute walk to the where the boats for the Islands depart and the day bus tours. Very central to eating places like the Night Markets. The bar fridge is a decent size and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you don’t have a car like was our case. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Ground floor room not far from reception.. As soon as I opened the door I smelt a stale mustiness about the room .. I am guessing the rooms may be getting upgraded and this one hasn’t been done yet or the leave this for the people who haven’t booked direct with the hotel.. The windows have timber shutters on them which unfortunately DO NOT block out the light from outside and the room certainly isn’t very soundproof from outside noises..
