"The hotel is excellent but isn't situated in the best area part of Delhi, it is safe but walking to the metro you have to cross numerous busy roads and even when the traffic lights are red the motor bikes continue to ride thru so you really need to have your wits about you. The break fast buffet is excellent with an out standing choice of options and the quality of the food is first choice. I was disappointed that for a few nights the Gourmet Bar didn't have any Indian beers which was very poor. The only really negative thing was the laundry, I spent a fair amount of time chasing when I would get it back. One day by mistake I left the do not disturb light on for my room so that days laundry wasn't left so I presumed it would be returned with the next days but it wasn't and it took them well over an hour to track it down. A call out to the young man that often worked the Gourmet bar, he was very friendly and took the time to listen when I asked for food to be slightly different to what was on the menu, he is probably early 20's, clean shaven and has a diamond in one ear. On the whole the hotel is excellent and would have no problem recommending it to other travellers"

"The hotel is good, staff is great and helpful, breakfast is good. It is tricky to find the hotel at first but you learn the way and then that's it. The surrounding area is busy; we did not have food close to the hotel but there are options. The manager helped us to find a driver for the city tours and he is great. The room is as in the pictures; a bit smaller that expected. There is a cafe/bar in the first floor, very convenient. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Haveli. Location is off the beaten path, down an alleyway which is not advertised, but after a couple of times you get used to it. Staff was helpful in escorting us through the alley and exchange cash. Restaurant prices are upcharged compared to other elevated restaurants in Delhi, but that was as to be expected."

"I decided to stay for 22 days in New Delhi because I wanted to visit all of the museums and historical sites and to just kind of "live" in the city for a while. I am a retired teacher still learning about the world. I stayed at one hotel for 7 days in Karol Bagh and then decided to stay at this hotel because they had a very friendly hotel guard sitting outside the front door whom I passed by frequently. He looked like a good guy, so I stayed at his hotel. And he was a good guy; he would answer my questions and help me when I needed things - he was a real asset to the property. I'm giving the property a good review because of him. God bless the guy. May he be happy forever. My only caveats - I had trouble finding my first hotel in this hotel zone of Karol Bagh (maybe I had a bad e-rickshaw driver). This is a clean and upscale hotel in Karol Bagh, which is not very clean and where you will be bothered by e-rickshaw guys a lot to take rides with them. There are acceptable restaurants to eat at. No nightlife (one "club" gave me a teeny amount of scotch and filled the glass with plastic bottled water). The Ramakrishna Ashram Blue Line Metro is close by. Tickets are super inexpensive, but there are long lines (and people cutting in). Buy a 3-Day Tourist card for 500 rupees if you can, but sometimes the Customer Care booth operator will tell you they don't have them. Sometimes a booth guy will make a phone call and someone will bring one to him. Good luck in New Delhi."
