"Was lovely "

"We stayed in the tiny house which was a good choice as the weather was cool and wet - it took a bit of work to get the woodstove going for us to get warm (and you need to take care once it's hot) - it did make downstairs comfortable to be in but the sleeping area very stuffy. There is an electric heater also but we didn't use that. We had been made aware that there was no stovetop in the house - the fridge is now in that space - so we had planned appropriately. An electric hotplate would suffice...

"The room was lovely, bed comfy, shower/toilet excellent & the staff great, but having the studio unit right next to the communal kitchen/lounge is not great as on our first night, the noise from the drunken revellers once they came back from the pub was deafening. This carried on until they finally went to bed around 1am only for a second lot revellers to arrive & were even louder ! I eventually got dressed & went out at 2.30am & asked them please go to bed, which they apologised & went to bed,...

"The cottage was roomy and gorgeous. Bed was divine. Kitchenette has basic tools for make a simple meal, although the cafe/bar also offers delicious salads, pizza, and platters. The tasting included in your booking is really wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the vineyards and grounds after everyone left in the evening and seeing the sunset on the hills. We were biking, so it was a convenient starting place to the day."

"It's a difficult thing to respond to. I'd forgotten how much central otago prices outweigh quality. The bed was comfortable but the room was incredibly dated and backed onto a very noisy commercial kitchen. The host was excellent and informative but the breakfast was terrible. The setting is spectacular and it was the first time in about 7 years we had had a chance to have a weekend away, we really enjoyed it. Just ensure that if you want to go out for dinner in Clyde, make sure you book ahead...

They made us feel right at home, and even gave us a few pieces of amazing fruit they had picked that day! The tasting they offer is a must-try; they’re doing things with wine nobody else is, and it works! The hot pools are also a fantastic way to relax after a long hike! The glass room in the olive grove feels like a portal directly to the Tuscan countryside!"
