No message with the code to get onto the harbour, then given an incorrect code, which took a member of staff to come and test it and then had to ask a bus driver for it. "The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. They also booked a restaurant reservation for us and couldn’t have been nicer. We booked a room with sea view and balcony,room was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was so comfortable (queen size). A couple of small issues,toilet is quite small and we had a problem with it flushing during our last night if we were staying longer I am sure it would have been fixed promptly as the staff were extremely helpful as I mentioned. "We enjoyed our stay in La Rochelle and the location of the hotel was ok but the room was not great. We are used to tiny rooms in France but this was really small with a micro bathroom/shower combo that would work well in a small travel trailer. Taking a shower involved shutting the water every minute to avoid inundating the room. Besides that there was the feeling that the floor in the raised level bathroom would cave in at any time. "A wonderful stay in La Rochelle! We loved the cute room and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Our only complaint was the bed was a little bit dusty or hairy in someway that was unpleasant. Also note the bathroom is clean and good but very very tiny. "
