We stayed for 5 nights in a 2 room suite which provided a seperate bedroom and a sitting room with 2 single beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was quite modern. The hotel lobby is great. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, there's a large central bar, and because of the chilly weather in mid October there was a wonderful wood fire buring most of the time. The hotel has a small heated pool which got lots of use from several families, and a sauna and spa. We didn't avail ourselves of the 25 euro breakfast as we prefered a coffee and croissant and there are lots of bar/coffee shops nearby. The hotel is an easy walk down to the harbour where there are more restaurants and bars than you can count.

Lovely hotel. Great location. Just on the outskirts of the main town (a 1/2 min walk until the main town / market area) Lovely clean room. The most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel.

Great location, just a short walk from shops, bars, restaurants and landmarks. perfect for relaxing and staying within the hotel as well, lovely spa and heated pool along with bar and restaurant. I will stay here every time i visit La Rochelle.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool area, while small, is beautiful - great place for an evening cocktail. The inside bar has a very knowledgeable staff. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Room was very comfortable and large. Difficult to find but the staff were amazing. It is in the centre of town so park your car and walk everywhere. Lots of bars and restaurants everywhere and dont forget the markets which was open on Friday. Highly recommend this hotel. Only one thing the bar is open from 3pm but there are plenty of bars nearby.

The hotel was perfect for our long weekend. The location is excellent: situated in the old town, only a couple minutes around the corner from the market, near to all the shops and the bus stop to the airport and about a 10 minute walk to the port. The staff are so helpful and friendly and anticipate what you are going to ask for. The pool is very clean and doesn’t smell too strongly of chlorine, the sauna is well maintained and the in a nice quiet area. Several guests like to sit around the pool on sun loungers to relax and read books with a drink. The room was beautiful and a good size and the bed comfortable. There are bicycles available for the stay from the hotel to get around. Car park has limited spaces and there is a mixture of normal and luxury cars from all over France and Europe. I appreciated the attention to detail to the lobby and room decor and it was very easy on the eye. The room lighting was well thought out with no dark corners, all the lights worked and the housekeeping team is very thorough. The restaurant Arco is just as excellent as I remember it four years ago and the lunch set menu (Tue-Sat) is astonishing value for the calibre of cooking.

Hôtel très charmant à l'intérieur ! Piscine sauna hammam et idéalement situé pour se ballader au port et la rue piétonne ! Proche des halles. Le personnel est adorable ! La façade par contre laisse à désirer c'est dommage vu le standing de l'hôtel !

La chambre était jolie et agréable. Seul point negatif mais ce n'est pas du fait de l'hôtel. Pour accéder à l'hôtel c'est devenu compliqué à cause des sens interdit et des accès à obtenir.
