"While I was a guest at the hotel, the main lobby was gutted and major construction work was undertaken to redo the whole entrance to the hotel. From 8:30 am until about 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, the noise of power tools was reverberating through the whole building. It was quite difficult to work or take a nap during that time. Hallways and elevators were obviously also affected by dust and dirt from the construction.
When I complained about not giving been forewarned about the impending...

"I booked and paid for this hotel in June. As I landed in Paramaribo in August ( 2 months later) I received an email sent 2 hrs before check in saying the hotel couldn't accommodate me. There was no explanation, no offer to help find another place to stay. I was at the airport trying to find same-day lodging with poor wifi.
This cancelation was totally unprofessional and inconsiderate, did the hotel not know how many rooms it had vs how many guests?
