"I was solo and if my wife was with me she would have insisted on staying somewhere else. They're redoing the place so I give them some leyway. My room was odd. The toilet area was very small and I had to have the door open to fit. To get in the shower I had to stand next to the toilet to shut the door. The hallway walking to my room weirdly smelled like a Chinese restaurant. The room if you started looking closely was dirty and the things in the room were odd choices. There was a sleeper couch that couldn't be pulled out due to space so not sure why it was in there and the art selection was weird. Breakfast was good as there are 4 juice choices but by the time I got there at 7 almost everything was gone and there was no staff around. The employee at check in was great but he was the only person I saw. I went twice to the front desk in the morning to check out but nobody ever came up to the desk so I just had to throw my key on the counter. I really liked seeing the river next to the hotel and was excited to see there was an arcade. It was very quiet and I slept find on the lumpy bed so I'd stay here again as long as I was alone. When they finish updating the property It should be a lot better."

"The front desk staff was helpful and personable. Check out time was noon, which was a nice change from the norm. The hot tubs had a good vibe, there are five of them. The one in the pool area was warmest. Breakfast was decent. It was mostly quiet (some family noise, not excessive). "

"Our stay overall was decent, but there are a few areas that could really be improved. It would be very helpful if guests were informed at check-in when amenities like the pool or hot tub are closed for maintenance, rather than having to find out on their own or ask. We were told the pool was heated to 84 degrees, but that was not our experience—it was extremely cold and difficult to stay in. When we asked, staff later confirmed the heater had actually been off. The pool towels were also quite stained and could definitely use replacing. Additionally, not having any housekeeping for a three-night stay felt a bit lacking. The bar soap provided was unusually small and not very practical for multiple days. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable, and the overall hotel was clean. Breakfast was standard for this type of hotel and met expectations."
