The guest in the neighbouring room was being rather noisy and I knew that it would disturb my sleep, so I approached reception and they were kind enough to offer an alternative, quiet room in which I slept well... :-) I was also very impressed with the breakfast. I chose the cooked option and it set me up for the day... I would highly recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again if I'm visiting Newry."

"Lovely big family room which was clean and had plenty of amenities. Our beds were comfortable and we all slept really well. The host, John was very friendly and helpful. We had the cooked breakfast the next morning, which was cooked to order and great value for money. We would definitely consider a return visit in the future. The only small thing that would have made it better is if there had been a shower instead of/in addition to a bath (which had a hand-held shower). It was however a lovely...

"Welcome was good, friendly and informative. Room was pleasant, clean and well situated with à separate entrance to Restaurant. Meals taken were good with excellent selection for breakfast. We were aware of entertainment in the Bar, which was excellent both nights. Note: entertainment is not availble in their Bar every night but there is entertainment somewhere in Rostrevor each night."

The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. "A beautiful Georgian mansion. Lovely host. However no TV; "fully breakfast" was advertised, but only a meager cold cereal or toast offered. I think they should revise their ad to accurately reflect there is NO FULL breakfast."

"The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Shower was great and plenty of hot water. Tea, coffee, bottles of water and biscuits were on hand. Breakfast was cooked well, with a good pot of tea and helpful staff on a busy morning. I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend the Ryandale to friends and family."
