"We were super disappointed with this resort. Sure it had some good points like a washer/ dryer in the room. The grounds were lovely, we felt safe. The food was ok, but the main pool was down right dirty. Mildew- algae on the deck in all the corners. We don’t think it was vacuumed all day. Never saw it being cleaned or chemicals checked. The rooms are out dated, certainly not a luxury resort. Maybe once upon a time. It’s worn out. It’s obvious leadership from the states hasn’t been recently....

"We spent 7 days at the Saint. It was so relaxing. There are several small pools to hang out in. The main pool has a bar and a great view. We had Sunday brunch there and it was yummy, especially the mimosa with fresh squeezed juice. The staff was great too. Very helpful and informative."

"This villa is in an excellent location, few minute walk to the old town and restaurants, grocery store, etc. Given the challenges finding parking downtown on St. John, that was a huge plus. A few minute walk down to the market as well. My wife loves that our unit is very clean and quality furniture including bed and linens. "The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The room was first class. It was clean, had great amenities, and the view was beyond words. It could not be more convenient to everything in Cruz Bay. The staff was 5 star by any standard. The only bad thing was that I had to leave and go back to work the next day."

"Gallows Point was in a great location to Cruz Bay. There was transportation from the resort to and from the ferry and the concierge - Ojhany - was the best. He was incredibly helpful and so kind! The rooms were spacious and had a full kitchen (no oven). We had everything we needed! The only thing to know is that there isnt beach access form the resort. I highly recommend renting a car from the resort and traveling to beaches all over the island."

"We arrived and Angie took us on a tour of the property as if we were staying in her home. Everything you want is readily available. Snorkels, towels, beach chairs, coolers. She even has hats and books in her office. The beauty of St. John is that it is unplugged. It’s like going back in time… and the St. John Inn matches the feel of the town. Thank you Angie!"

"I liked everything about the place. It was exactly as I hoped it would be. Very laid back, just like the entire island. 2mins from the center of town - shops, restaurants, bars, beach, everything. Owners & staff fantastic. It was off-season slow, which is when I usually travel. If you want to kick back in a quiet, friendly place, St. J is the place to do it, and the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel is the place to stay. 5+ stars!"

The Hills location is far enough off the beaten path that there was not much noise or vehicle traffic in our area, yet close enough to be very convenient to get into Cruz Bay via a quick taxi ride of about five minutes. "This is very nice, recently renovated 8 unit property. They are located on the top floor so 2 1/2 flights of stairs are required to get there. (Plus a walk up a hill from the ferry) It was a very nice surprise on how pretty the unit was and all the amenities available. The grocery store is right next door so grabbing some (very pricey) needed items was helpful. It’s a very short walk to everything in Cruz Bay. No need to grab a taxi unless you are headed to the beach or other parts of...
