"Ac in room didn’t work well, had to set it at 66 degrees to get it to work! Couldn’t turn TV on and had to get help to fix issue, phone didn’t work, no soap in shower (only shampoo & conditioner), tissue box only had 2-3 tissues in it, toilet seat is loose and doesn’t fit well (wrong size), no water to drink in breakfast area & OJ tasted sour, no signs at the corner telling you where to turn at the traffic light to get to hotel which caused us to get on I-40 and had to drive an extra 18 miles...

"Had to ring bell several times and called front desk several times before a man strolled his way up the hall to assist me and a line of people behind me. Man seemed disconnected with reality and if someone if going through something that bad they need not be at work or either he hates his job and needs to find his happiness elsewhere."

We were told the delivery truck hadn’t arrived, but our college reunion had been booked months in advance, and there were more than 15 people in our group staying at the hotel. The pool situation was especially concerning. Several members of our group ended up cleaning the pool themselves and even contacted a local pool company to test the water to ensure it was...

"Not what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. It was fine but older, worn, and seemed more on par with a Super 8. The bed had a huge saggy spot in the middle. The carpet was very dirty -- socks turned dark from walking on it. A little disappointing given how much we paid. Staff were great however."

"I love the flamingo motel! The room was very clean and big! The staff were very kind and they even came out to our car to collect our room key so we didn't have to walk back to the front."

"It is a little run down and the road construction is a bit of a hassle. Plan extra time leaving. The water slide is seasonal and was not open nor was the pool. It is in a separate building. The parking was ample and it is easy to park near your room. Staff very nice and kind. Seems a little overpriced for what you get given the rooms are kind of old and worn. The bed was springy and uneven and there was a hole in the sheet."

"The place was a total mess. They claimed I made my reservation too far in advance, 3 months, and paid for but still managed to lose my reservation. When they finally were going to give me a room, the one they gave was dirty and unmade up. The next room was already occupied. The next had a toilet in the middle of the room. That was it for me and went to find another hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"I have stayed at this motel in the past, when it was under different ownership and management, and the improvements were quite surprising. In the past rooms were at a barely acceptable level of clean, there were usually not enough towels, soap, shampoo, coffee etc. This time however, my room was VERY clean, fully stocked with everything that one would expect when renting a room. The microwave and refrigerator were in good working order (not always the case at my previous visits a few years ago)....
