"Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location was great — just a 5 min drive to the city and close to Mindil Beach, the markets and camel rides. There is free public parking available, or secure parking for $20 per night, which I felt was a little steep. While we had no issues during our stay, I would like to see more secure access to the resort, as some areas can be accessed by the general public. "Concierge was very helpful considerate and inviting from the moment we arrived, the hotel itself was very clean and the rooms delightful and would stay again the only downfall was they would not replenish the water bottles or the small milks every day (we were there for 5 days) for the kettle in our room so we could have coffee. but one word to the staff and they would rectify it straight away, ideal location close to the waterfront and main streets easy to get to places for dining"

"We had a bathroom set up for a person with dissabilities no shower screen had to put towels on the floor so we didnt slip over as the shower watet went everywhere We got used to it but was not impressed"

"This hotel is an excellent location. Unfortunately, our room was extremely tired, air vents and windows incl window joinery were very very dirty . There were cracks in skirtings and mould in the shower. I don't think the property justified the price charged."

"Not every 5 star hotel is a 5 star hotel. Spacious room but insulation poor (loud neighbours as well!) and bed (especially pillows) are not supporting good sleep, No coffee machine in the room, no cable tv either and the fitness room so so (small and not sufficient for more than 3 people), hotel misses ambiance. Overall, price quality is not balanced."

"Excellent , Friendly and Helpful Staff. Clean Large One Bedroom Apartment with Kitchen (Microwave, Oven, Stove Top, Dish Washer and Large Fridge 😀) Washing Machine and Dryer. Amazing Food at Their Restaurant and Breakfast included. Perfect stay. Could have more movies on Foxtel, only has the Basic package, with handful of classic movies, but otherwise, I highly Recommend RYDGES Palmerston 👍"

"Major noise problem with open air night club “mayberries” playing extremely loud disco music from 8pm to 3.30 am. No sleep possible at all. Complained to front desk during the night but made no difference at all. Do not stay at this hotel if you intend to get some sleep !"

"This is in a great location, walkable to the restaurants at Cullen Bay Marina and Mindel Beach markets whilst only à short drive to central Darwin. Great view (if you have a Waterfront room). Good staff, helpful and friendly. Parking also good. Unfortunately the property needs some updating - our apartment was tired and not particularly clean (every day cleaning ok but the windows, skirtings, floors etc not good.
