"Everything was a great experience! Had all the supplies needed to help enjoy ourselves. Great hospitality & greeting of a happy birthday sign and card, super thoughtful!"

"The room was clean and very comfortable. While the breakfast was good, the only feedback would be on how the counter was set up. The most popular item - the waffle maker was located almost in a corner next to the juice machine and beside a coffee machine. It was VERY congested and resulted in some frustrated individuals. Perhaps that popular breakfast item could be located away from the rest of the items available."

"Sidewalks need repairs.Bathroom was tiny."

"Very clean and friendly staff. Perfect location"

"We had a nice stay at the Black Bear. Great location and Kim was very accommodating."

"Resort was dark and dated. Air conditioning loud and beds and pillows uncomfortable. We were the only guests in the resort. No amenities The restaurant was more updated and bright but food was fair. No breakfast available. Golf course was in good condition and the starter was friendly and helpful. Will not be returning."

"Clean"

"Surprisingly perfect. Room was immaculate everything seems brand newly renovated."

"We loved the antique style in the colonial house. The bed was super comfortable, and be sure to pet their friendly cat Jack."

"What an amazing experience! The Inn is so charming! The place was absolutely spotless, breakfast bar was stocked perfectly, dinner both nights was fabulous and the staff was amazingly friendly! We cannot wait to book our next stay!"

"The lobby had loiterers the entire time. The lobby smelled of stale & fresh cigarette smoke. The loiterers were loud & sleep was not possible. The vending machine is unplugged. The shower head did not work. The breakfast item was 1/2 full loaf of bread & butter in a brown paper bag near a toaster. Overall extremely poorly run establishment."

"Delicious breakfast and host was very knowledgeable about local things to do"

"enjoyed our stay. breakfast was nice."

"We were so excited to go stay at the Shadowcrest and it completely exceeded our expectations! The host was so wonderful and the room was beautiful and so comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Room was clean. Towels were soft. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff was helpful and kind. I’ll be back."

"Booked for two nights, left after one. The room was fine- clean, no funky smells, clean bathroom newer mattresses and HVAC. As a solo female traveler, I just didn’t feel great about the location, lack of on-site staff, and door locks. A no-frills, roadside motel was not for me, but could be fine for you."
