"By far the staff team is the best thing about this hotel - friendly, helpful and attentive in just the right degree - advice: tip in cash - any tips added to a card bill do not get to the staff.
Rooms: spacious, comfortable and spotless - a bit dated but hey, it's a classic building.
Public areas: plush elegance - again a bit dated but comfortable and spacious although the position of the overly small bar causes problems getting to the restaurant at busy times.
