I can honestly say that this is the first negative review we have ever left for a hotel so it is not something that we find joy in doing. "They really go above and beyond to make your stay excellent. The property has no reviews because it’s a new opening, but the room are spacious, the view is great and the bed very comfy. Make sure to dine at their restaurant, the food is delicious! "

"Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. "Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating. "

The booster pump noise was completed by the smell of the septic tank coming through the bathroom vent, adding to the negative experience of the hotel.
