"Arrived late and needed a few hours sleep before setting off to Calais. The hotel is secure with an electric code protected gate to secure cars. The man in reception was polite and efficient even at 2am when we arrived but that’s when the good points ended. The room is tired and needs refreshing with heavily marked walls etc but the bedding was clean. Unfortunately, other guests were shouting and banging until 4.30 am then the fire alarm was triggered. "The hotel is amazing for families. There is a swimming pool, mini golf, football, petanque and a small climbing frame outside. Inside there are lots of wooden table top games to play as well as table football - all free. My girls (9 & 11) absolutely loved it. It was an overnight stop for us but we spent the afternoon at the hotel and had a brilliant time. The restaurant was also great. I would highly recommend staying here."
