"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Architecturally splendid, and a true 5 star hotel. The service was impeccable and the dinner and breakfast were elegant and well done. A great hotel for a romantic few days or a family outing. If you are driving, it is about 50 min from Fountainebleu and 25 minutes from Chartre."

"It was impossible to drive to the hotel without special instructions, which we received only after having parked some distance away and walking with our luggage to check in. After I received the special instructions and retrieved my car from the public parking lot it took a long time to get to the hotel since road construction and detours blocked the route recommended by Google maps, which I was using to navigate.
