"We had a wonderful stay at the Inter-Continental Fiji. We had a very warm welcome and all the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and having the bath on the balcony was really nice - you could create extra privacy on the balcony by closing the curtain. "We have stayed multiple times at Castaway and this was by far the most disappointing. The staff were lovely as always, however the dining options were extremely disappointing. Being forced on some nights to have the buffet when all we wanted was a single dish each meant that dining was very expensive for a family of four. The resort also feels very dated now We now are in 2 minds as to whether we would come back. "

"The staff went the extra mile to accommodate any request. They provide a golf buggy pick up and drop off around the resort (it is 2km long) and also run a modified buggy (bula bus) constantly 24/7. The villa was exactly as we booked and they even thought to put us a short walk to the restaurant (1 of 3) that was closest to us."

"The staff at this hotel were so lovely and attentive, they provided us with great service and helped us set up some excursions in addition to our shuttle. There are a few local restaurants near by, which kept us satisfied for the 5 days we were there, but we also had a kitchenette, which was nice, although we didn’t use it like we had planned with the proximity of restaurants. "This hotel has its positives, nice location, beach is beautiful, friendly staff. But the adults side is lacking given you have to go to the other side for most meals. The better beach is on the other side too. Room cleanliness is hard given the bugs that fly in if your patio door is open. Feels like not enough staff to manage everything and you need to wait some time for a cart to take you anywhere "
