"Small hotel with unbeatable location right on Vilano Beach with short drive to downtown St. Augustine. All rooms have an ocean view with small balcony (though first floor may be partially obstructed by sand dunes (we were on second floor)). Hotel is very pet friendly (and dogs are allowed on the beach). Friendly/helpful staff. No pool; breakfast decent not great. Still worth it."

"I want to start by saying that this lodge is in a wonderful location and the staff is amazing! We arrived really early and asked if we could check in early to put our suit cases in our room, Ronda told us as soon as the room is cleaned we could check in, but we could leave our luggage in the back room if we wanted. She also let us know about the area, and recommended the trolley tour which stops right by the lodge. We went on the tour and it was great! When we got back our room was ready.
