"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

"Staff is amazing! Service was great! Food was good! The only negative is booking excursions through the resort! Do not book through the resort you be charged double sometimes almost triple the price if you went through Viator or Expedia. A $500 excursion on Viator was $1700 through the four seasons."

"This trip was a dream come true of all dreams!!!! From the moment we got off the plane at Bora Bora airport, the staff went above and beyond our expectations. The waters of Bora Bora was awe inspiring with crystal clear water and the most beautiful shades of blue. The property is immaculate and looked after with love from the staff, rooms were huge and the views were just magical. The restuarants were all outstanding, but The Lagoon restuarant stood out the most..... but was it a burst of mind...

"Such a welcoming staff. Property was very clean and we were super satisfied with our King Room third floor ocean view! Wow! My only comment would be limited breakfast buffet and they need a real coffee machine. Other wise the a la carte menu was extensive and very high quality."

"Nicest OWB we have stayed in the French Polynesia! Staff was excellent and quite beautiful location. Only thing we would have changed a little was some additional lunch and dinner options at the restaurant. Food was excellent, breakfast included, just was looking for salads and more simple things. We were only there for a layover before our cruise so we didn’t really use the amenities other than the fitness room (had all that I needed to get a good full body weight workout done), and the Algortherm Spa (we had a couples massage -well done-and used the steam room there. The resort needs a little bit of a makeover. Honestly, if they just spruced up all the hallways that are brown/off-white with some brighter colors, I think that would do wonders. "This was my second stay at the Royal Bora Bora. It's an economical hotel that's perfect for me since I don't spend much time in my room and a luxury hotel wouldn't make much since for me. The rooms are clean, the food is good, and the staff is excellent. I could, definitely, see my self coming back for a third visit."

"The hotel is tired and could use a refresh. It’s very expensive for the level of ambiance. I did have a fabulous massage! Expensive, though, considering the spa has few amenities like a sauna."

"We really enjoyed our stay here - everything was as described/stated - maybe the weather could have been a bit nicer but that is not up to the resort 😉. Overall the resort is very well maintained esp. given the hot and humid climate. The coral garden with its variety of fish was really amazing and we drift snorkeled there quite a few times. In front of our beach bungalow we spotted several rays and one baby reef shark as well."

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant.
