Located just far enough out of Colombo to be quiet, yet can easily walk to Galle Face Green if you wish. The hotel is clean and staff are great. Plenty food and beverage options at reasonable prices or try Galle Road for street food. Take the free shuttle to the beach lounge for a swim in the sea or just relax on the sea front. The roof pool is busier than the beach lounge but still always room available. High Tea was very good and the Tides buffet was super.

The hotel was absolutely incredible. Its surroundings were beautiful. We stayed in the Courtyard Suite and it was huge. The staff made the stay so special, and food was stunning! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! Thank you!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Staff and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Facilities were of a high standard and included everything we needed. The outdoor pool was exceptionally enjoyable. WiFi was excellent - both in the room and at the pool. It’s worth booking a club Horizon room as the lounge is worth every penny.

This was my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The room was brand new, up to westerner standards without sacrificing the local touches. The staff was very is nice and the breakfast was excellent. They can organise any types of excursions to visit the town, day tour, boat tour (which picks you up from the hotel back yard) and spa treatment. This was the perfect ending to a perfect trip.

I had a great time at this hotel. They were kind to accommodate me and let me check in very early at 9am. All the staff were really kind and helpful, as well as hard working. The management were also keen to check that customers were happy and comfortable. Very nice room too

We had a wonderful few days at this hotel. The pool and gardens were wonderful. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stayed on our last night in Sri Lanka as a stopover on the way to the airport. Can't remember exactly but it's about a 20 min drive. Hence can't comment on the local area and what's around. The hotel however is wonderful. Old colonial building tastefully renovated with great attention to detail. Food was also very good and reasonably priced. A real bit of luxury in great grounds. Would certainly recommend it. Just as a side note - a made an error while booking the hotel, Hotels.com were less...

Great place for solo travellers. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent staff and proprietor who always make you feel happy and content. Superb location.

This is a small, beautiful hotel in a good location for walks to the beach (20 minutes) and to the main street with shops and restaurants (15 minutes). The mix of tasteful local decor in the rooms and tropical planting in the garden and surroundings is charming. Well appointed bathrooms, spacious rooms, good air conditioning. Naleepa and Madusha are excellent masseuses, thank you ladies! I recommend this for any stay in Negombo!

Perfect stay with great hosts Rooms are clean and quite new with on suite bathroom. I can’t complain about anything really it was a good stay. Breakfast was great and the hosts collected us from the airport for 1500 rp that was cheaper then a local taxi and it’s nice to have someone to collect us after a long flight with no fuss. Thanks for looking after us :))) Defo recommend 5*

Very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent locally sourced food, a great environment policy and the amazing 100m swimming pool. Its not a family hotel as such, however there was a babysitting service and a good choice of food for children. The pool is 4m deep (no 'shallow end' although there are steps). The suites have a twin room suitable for children. No beach, although limited watersports on the lagoon.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. For other travellers, I’d recommend checking the room options when booking and considering what facilities are most important to you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good choice for a relaxing trip. I would be happy to stay here again.

Ultimately a brilliant hotel and breakfast. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Lovely beach location! The staff were very attentive and responsive. We stayed here for our first night in Sri Lanka. The hotel is a good location for the airport and was a very good nights sleep after a very long day travelling.

The hotel was just what we needed after arriving in Colombo and we stayed again the night before we left. The pool and rooftop bar have amazing views as well as the rooms. Breakfast is great but quite expensive, as are the snacks in the rooftop bar. Our favourite meal was a la carte lunch which was really good value.
