Room booked via Expedia included a private hot tub on the terrace, but the hot tub has not been available at the hotel for over a year, so really disappointing to find that out on arrival. Staff at the hotel were apologetic. Room lovely, terrace looking unkept and needs a facelift, outdoor lights not charged and some of the furniture was damp and mouldy, but nice and private with a view above the city, so could be great. "I was so excited to stay at this hotel and admittedly had high expectations. The hotel itself is gorgeous, breath-taking even. It's incredibly well-kept, surrounded by gorgeous vineyards, the room was spacious with views overlooking vineyards, the pool clean, the restaurant was beautiful. We loved taking the bikes out and riding through the vineyard backroads to visit multiple wineries and the location itself is only a 5 minute drive to town. My call out on this stay was the staff... "It’s large congress hotel renovated and furnished in quite specific style. There is only air conditioning to refresh your room as you are not allowed to open the windows. Hotel is practical but not for romantic stay in Bordeaux."

"The hotel was a great location and beautiful and quiet. Lovely staff and just had a really nice feel. Rooms were lovely and clean though fairly basic. Would be perfect if they just had a mini-fridge or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise - lovely."
