"Beautiful views and night life around the city. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful (we got lost and the staff helped with directions to the hotel). Definitely worth stopping and staying a night or two if youre in the area. I would go out of my way to stay here again if travelling to Albania. "

"We booked and paid in advance. A friendly lady checked us in in the afternoon and we got the key of our room. When we returned to the hotel after visiting the city and having dinner, we were met by a man who behaved very agressive. He said that he didn’t work with hotels.com nor with expedia and said he was going ‘to throw us out of the hotel’. "Our stay at the Gjirokaster Hotel was amazing! It was the off-season, and it felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived in the evening, and he was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the views of the mountains was amazing! The breakfast the next day was great with local cheese, bread, jam & mountain tea. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Faleminderit :)"
