"To say this stay was phenomenal would be an understatement! We weren’t sure exactly what to expect on the island before we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised by everything. Travel was very easy on the ferry with a prearranged ticket and a person to greet us on Heron Island. We were then picked up on the beach on Heron Island, where we had a fun 20 minute boat ride to Wilson. "Whilst the room was clean and comfortable the amenities were limited. No microwave and only the top if the fridge to boil a kettle. No toaster nor a bench top in the bathroom. There was no car parking close to our room. Once we had removed our luggage we had to park our car approximately 100 meters away."

"Bad lighting, no table, carpet stains, air conditioning poor could not adjust vent as it was broken small tv from the bed hard to watch coffee spot bad lighting. Genarly i would not stay there again or recommend the motel to anyone."

"Large apartment very spacious. Easy check in process. Did have old furniture needing refurbished and lots of dust. The Sheets smelt off not sure if it was the bedding or mattress. Apartments these days don’t seem to be cleaned very well. Would love if they had a headboard on the bed. Apart from that overall good place to stay. Nice big kitchen area. Lovely view. Excellent location. Parking easy."

"Our stay in Gladstone was disappointing overall. The after-hours check-in process was complicated and not clearly communicated, which made arrival stressful. Unfortunately, the room itself was not well maintained, with a ripped chair and used dental floss left on the bathroom floor, which raised concerns about cleanliness. This property needs better attention to detail and housekeeping standards to meet basic guest expectations."
