"Location wise we were a few minutes walking distance of Trinity college and an easy walk to O’Connell street (15 min). There is a Tesco Express a half block to pick up supplies for the stay.
The 1 bedroom with the pullout sofa worked out great for our family of 4. The sofa bed has two twin beds so the kids felt like they had their own space instead of sharing a bed. We had air conditioning, which was much appreciated as we had unseasonably hot weather.

"The Arlington's downstairs restaurant and showroom is a great idea. But when the World Cup was on my room was shaking from bass speakers and roaring with cheers. Even when the regular music and dance show plays it's still very audible. If I open the window city noise can become invasive. There's also no air conditioning and the electrical wiring in my room is a bit faulty."

"We stayed at the Academy Plaza to join a tour. Our one night stay was good and no complaints about the hotel at all. The neighbourhood was a very busy noisy tourist area. If you want to stay north of the Liffey, then Academy Plaza is a good choice. I strongly prefer neighbourhoods south of the Liffey, and outside the Temple Bar area."
