"We stayed in room 23 which is like the penthouse suite. The balcony overlooks the ocean and was a wonderful place to watch the sunset. This is a lovely property. The landscaping is unique, the food is good, the bartender and staff are thoughtful and accommodating. Also, the spa was quiet, comfortable and relaxing."

"My wife and I stayed at Mara Explorer for 6 nights in September 2023. This was our third Safari in Kenya.
The Mara Explorer is the most magical and enchanting location for a safari I could ever imagine.
Everything was impeccable - the amazingly friendly and professional staff, wonderful hospitality, service, and beautiful food.
The tents are an absolute privilege to stay in, especially being woken up to the hippo chorus at each morning! The bed was so comfy - I slept like never before. ...

"Another Unforgettable Safari Experience
As always, our stay was absolutely amazing. There’s a reason we keep coming back! The staff is truly excellent—they make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. "Lonno Lodge is a wonderful, peaceful small boutique hotel with ocean views, a large pool and delicious food. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. There are nearby restaurants/clubs with sandy beaches."
