"Spring break march 17-22/2026. Great time at the Dunamar. Overall staff is wonderful. ALEX AND his entertainment team did an amazing job from pool activities to night entertainment. Buffet was good had some good options. Steakhouse and Kulinarium were the best dinner we had out of all the dinner options. Joseph and Sergio were excellent in serving our family of 11. Sadly last day had some sargassum and a bit challenging to maintain but we got in the beautiful water anyway. Our room was clean and plenty of cold water amd soda on the fridge. Our family had an amazing vacation."

"This resort is very modern and Americanized, didn’t feel authentic Mexican. Beautifully designed with really great food. The buffet was amazing always had something new to discover. Did not like the wait times to get into the buffet or the order coffee from there little on site coffee shop. It was impossible to just go somewhere and help yourself to morning coffee. You had to wait to be sat then wait for the waiter to come over to your table (at the buffet) the train brings you around which helps since the resort is so big: the beach side pool is very sleek. Staff friendly. The gym is beautiful and nice tennis courts. Nightly live musicians were talented. I loved the smell in the lobby. "

"The hotel has a good location and a very pleasant environment. The buffet offers excellent variety and quality, especially for breakfast and lunch. However, I believe the dinner options could be improved, as they were not as impressive. One downside was that we found some cockroaches in our room, which was disappointing and something the hotel should definitely address. Overall, it is a good place to stay if you are looking to have fun, enjoy drinks, and meet new people."
